Questions before you join

Membership

Are youth memberships available?

Adult memberships only during the pre-sale. Youth memberships, along with student and other options, will be offered when the gym opens.

When are you opening?

We will try our best to open by December 1st, but there are some factors still up in the air. We'll provide updates as we get closer to opening!

Do you have sliding scale memberships?

Yes! We will open up sliding scale memberships once we open.

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes!
Annual: Members can freeze in one month increments (up to three months). $15 flat fee, and membership contract duration will be extended by the freeze duration.
Weekly: Members can freeze in one week increments (2-8 week limit). $4/week, and membership contract duration will be extended by the freeze duration.

When will my membership start?

Pre-sale memberships will be paid upfront, but your membership term will not start until your first visit or 30 days after the gym opens (whichever is sooner).

Amenities

Will you have fitness equipment?

Yes! We will have climbing training (hangboards, campus boards), strength (weights and machines), and cardio equipment.

What training boards will you have?

All adjustable:
- Tension Board 2 in the mirror layout (will expand to 16ft wide when available)
- 16ft wide Kilter Board
- Omni Board (on order from manufacturer)
- 16ft wide spray wall

Will you have showers?

Yes, we will have showers and a footwash station.

Will you have a sauna?

Unfortunately, we don't have the space to accommodate a sauna (sorry!)

Location

Will there be parking on site?

Yes! We have ~50 parking spots in our lot, plus lots of free street parking nearby.

How do I get to Nova Boulders?

Nova Boulders is at 1801 Old Bayshore Hwy, right off Highway 101, near SFO airport and the Millbrae Transit Hub.
- Driving: Hwy 101 to exit 420 for Millbrae Ave, then Old Bayshore Highway to Mitten Ave.
- Public transit: Take BART or Caltrain to the Millbrae Transit Hub. From there, walk, bike, bike/rideshare, or take the SamTrans bus to Nova Boulders.
